Take the next step

Is now the right time to think about income investing?

If you're somewhere in your 40s or 50s and have started to wonder how your portfolio might generate income in the years ahead, our courses are designed for exactly that moment. No prior investing experience is assumed.

Common Questions

Things people often ask

Do I need investment experience to join?
No prior experience is expected. The First Principles course is designed as a starting point — it assumes curiosity, not familiarity. The more advanced programmes build on the earlier material, and participants are guided through each stage.
Are these courses specific to Hong Kong investors?
Yes, the material is built around the HK context — including the tax treatment of dividends received locally and from offshore holdings, HK-listed vs US-listed company payout patterns, and the MPF as a backdrop. That said, the underlying concepts apply broadly.
Will the courses tell me which stocks to buy?
They won't. Our courses focus on concepts, frameworks, and decision-making skills — not stock tips or specific recommendations. Historical examples are used to illustrate ideas. Participants leave with better questions, not a shopping list.
How are the courses delivered?
Courses are delivered in small cohorts with a mix of structured reading, guided exercises, and facilitator-led discussion. The Pre-Retirement programme includes written feedback on the income plan participants develop during the course. Contact us to ask about upcoming cohort dates.
What is the time commitment per week?
Participants generally set aside three to four hours per week — a mix of reading, exercises, and any group sessions. The pace is designed for people with full working schedules, so the material does not assume large, uninterrupted blocks of time.
Can I take courses out of order?
Each course is designed to stand on its own, though the three are naturally sequential. If you have some background in dividend investing already, the Income-Focused Portfolios programme may suit you as an entry point. We can help you decide — just get in touch.
